In harmony with God, each other and the environment,
experiencing challenge and success
We have strong links with St. Andrew´s church. Mr. Edge takes a weekly assembly in school and, as part of the programme of R.E., children visit the church regularly. They also visit, and have occasional visitors from, other local churches.

Christianity forms the core of all that we uphold and teach; we hope that it is evident in the ethos of the school.
At the same time, we acknowledge and value the multi–faith nature of our society.
Each year, children will study particular aspects of Christianity and look at aspects of another major world faith. Through this, children should begin to develop an understanding of the nature of religion and its place in life. We hope to safeguard their confidence in their own religion and help them develop respect for those who hold different beliefs from their own.
Every day, we have an act of worship led by a member of the school´s Management Team or Mr. Edge. This is an important time for us to come together as a school and we always try to make assembly enjoyable yet challenging, giving the children something to think about. Our Ofsted report (December 2005) stated, "Worship is outstanding and it is clearly evident that pupils enjoy the daily act of worship and are fully engaged in it."
On Fridays, parents are invited to attend a class-led assembly and are invited to visit the classroom afterwards.
